Hamburguers

One day my friends and I went to a restaurant to eat hambuerguers. suddenly , an elderly woman came to the line behind us. After that, we let her pass at first. When she passed, we saw that it was only an empty table and that the elderly woman would occupy it. As soon as we saw her, one of my friends ran fast and sat down on a chair and said: "I'm sorry lady, the table is occupied." At that moment, she began to yell and hit my friend. Just then, a man calmed the poor elderly woman. The next day, unfortunately we saw her in other restaurant, but this time we just laughted. and we remember that embarrasing moment. It was very funnny!!

People from the city.

In general, people from the city have more opportunities to go out with their friends. Adolescents need to ask for permission; but adults don't need to ask for it.
Adolescents go to places as the beach or the downtown. Sometimes they go to restaurants, parties, movies, etc.
Adults go to concerts, bars, discotheques, meetings with friends, and when they go to parties, can drinks some beers.
In my family there are some rules, for example, my brothers can go to a party with his friends and spend all night long with them. but, when I want to go to a party with my friends I must be at home at 11:00 pm, and my brother or my best friend must go with me and carry me home, but well... I agree.

My friend César

My friend César Castro is the most creative person I know. He always carried a small notebook and a pencil, because liked to make manga and anime cartoons. He began draw at the age of 4, because he is a really fan of that kind of cartoons. I really like his draws a lot.

One day, he created a web page and added a story with anime characters. A lot of people visited it and he began to have fans of his job. One year later, he was contacted with a person from an animation studio in the United States who was fascinated with the story. He traveled to USA and was contracted to create a new TV series. Although, he began to be famous and earn a lot of money, he still being a nice guy. He has never forgotten his friends and the people who love him.

He never dreamed to get a job by doing something that he loved a lot. He is really creative and that’s why he and his creation could be famous. I hope he make more creations because I like the cartoons. I know that he can do it.

Hi everyone!!

We have made a survey in order to know how important the English is for our group of fifth semester. Some of they answered different about it. These were my results:

The Importance Of The English Language.

1.- English is important to get a job today.
* The majority of the students strongly agree about English is important to get a job today.
2.- If you get the appropriate training, it's easy to find a job teaching English.
* Most of the students agree about that if you get the appropriate training, it's easy to find a job teaching English.
3.- Teaching English is easier than working as an interpreter.
* About half of the students are uncertain about teaching English is easier than working as an interpreter.
4.- Working as an interpreter is more profitable than working as an English teacher.
* Quite a few of the students strongly agree about that working as an interpreter is more profitable than working as an English teacher.
5.- Native like English is more important for translators than for language teachers.
* About half of the students agree about native-like English is more imporant for translators than for language teachers.

I have some problems to read aloud, because as is commonly said in Spanish, "se me lengua la traba".
